Drew Klein graduated from the University of Waterloo as the Valedictorian of the Year 2000 Science Faculty.

In his final year of study, he achieved the highest grade (A) completing an Honours Research Project on the effect of oxidative stress on transgenic mice with Dr. John Carlson’s Animal Physiology PhD team.

Following graduation, Drew spent the next 20 years in high finance and high technology. Drew moved to Los Angeles, California and worked in the commodity brokerage business as a licensed futures broker and branch manager. In 2005 he started his own Introducing Brokerage firm – which he ultimately sold to a Chicago-based FCM.

In 2010, Drew returned to Ottawa, and until 2020, he held the role of Vice-President / Director of International Business Development, leading the sales and marketing team of a publicly traded technology business. The company has become a world leader in commercial mobile antenna manufacturing and design.

Although healthcare has always been of specific interest to Drew, it took a global pandemic to renew his passion for the field.
He started FocusWave Clinic in October 2020 to help local men improve their vascular wellness and sexual health, and he is working daily to reduce the stigma attached to sexual dysfunction. 

Drew is a Board Certified Sexologist (American Board of Sexology), a member of the ISSM (International Society for Sexual Medicine) and a certified Focused Shockwave Therapy Clinician (Storz Medical, 2020). Drew is President of FocusWave Clinic and runs the day to day operations.
