Yes, this is an 18+ event.

You’re more than welcome to come solo - and you won’t be the only one. We’ve built this space to be friendly and welcoming, whether you're attending with a partner, a friend, or on your own.

The schedule features a mix of workshops, panels, and talks - all led by vetted educators and professionals. You can also check out live demonstrations in the Mezzanine area, hosted by experienced BDSM practitioners (with options to observe or try light, introductory sensations). Plus, enjoy sex-positive artistic performances on the main stage throughout the day.

Absolutely. CLIMAX is intentionally inclusive of centers diverse experiences, including all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles. Our programming reflects a range of identities, bodies, and experiences.

Yes. The Main Hall is fully accessible, with elevators and accessible washrooms. A wheelchair ramp will also be available to access additional rooms. If you require any accessibility support, please email us in advance at climaxconference@gmail.com so we can ensure everything is ready for your arrival.

We know that pleasure and healing often go hand-in-hand. We recognize that healing and pleasure are deeply connected. Many of our sessions are rooted in a trauma-informed approach, and you’re always encouraged to engage in ways that feel safe and right for you.

Your well-being matters to us. If you need a break, there will be a quiet space available for rest and reflection, along with a dedicated volunteer psychologist onsite to provide grounding support if needed.

Yes. We understand how challenging it can be to prioritize yourself as a new parent. You're welcome to bring children under the age of one. We just ask that if your baby becomes disruptive, you step outside or use one of the available quiet spaces.

There is no dress code for the conference itself - wear whatever you feel comfortable in! However, the optional after party organized by House of Kink does have a dress code. See here for more details.

If you qualified for a goodie bag with gifts from our sponsors, you’ll have received a confirmation email from us. You can pick it up at the registration desk when you arrive at the conference.

Each attendee will receive a complimentary cup of coffee or tea. A bar will also be open for purchasing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. While food won’t be available at the venue, there are plenty of great dining options just steps away from the conference!

The conference takes place in Ottawa’s Little Italy, on Preston Street. Depending on your location, you may want to take public transit or use a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to reach the venue. For public transit routes and schedules, visit OC Transpo.

Yes! Free parking is available onsite for vehicles, with additional parking across the street at the Adult High School (297 Preston St). Bike racks are also available for those arriving by bicycle.
