Meet the Marketplace: FemmeSense
The CLIMAX Marketplace is proud to showcase Canadian-made brands that prioritize wellness, pleasure, and empowerment. One such innovator is FemmeSense, a line created by a pelvic health physiotherapist who recognized an unmet need in intimate care.
Tell us about your brand, what inspired you to create, and what makes it unique?
FemmeSense Balm was created because women and vulva owners deserve better intimate care—especially during midlife. In clinical practice, many people quietly struggle with vulvar dryness and discomfort, yet are often offered solutions that feel cold or clinical. FemmeSense set out to change that. By working alongside pelvic health and skincare specialists, the team developed a balm that is natural, gentle, and deeply nurturing.
What makes FemmeSense unique is its purpose: to support not just physical comfort, but also confidence, self-respect, and pleasure at every stage of life. The brand bridges healthcare and self-care in a way that feels approachable and empowering.
How does your product represent your brand?
Currently, FemmeSense Balm is the brand’s signature product—and it perfectly embodies their mission. Made in Canada with carefully selected ingredients, the balm supports vulvar health by hydrating delicate tissue, soothing irritation, and creating a protective barrier.
Vulvar dryness can occur at any stage of life, but it is especially common postpartum, during menopause, or at times of hormonal change. FemmeSense Balm was designed to be a quality, clinician-approved solution: effective, safe, and created with real-world needs in mind.
What new or exciting product will you be showcasing at CLIMAX?
FemmeSense will be showcasing their flagship FemmeSense Balm at CLIMAX. The conference offers the perfect opportunity to introduce the product to a wider audience of people seeking supportive, evidence-informed intimate wellness solutions.
What role do you believe pleasure plays in overall wellness?
Pleasure is essential to overall wellness—it is not a luxury but a vital sign of health. Too often, women’s and vulva owners’ pleasure has been overlooked, particularly in midlife. Yet pleasure—whether physical, emotional, or sensual—helps regulate the nervous system, relieves stress, and strengthens connection to oneself and others. It reinforces that every person is worthy of feeling good in their own skin.
