Dr Sony Sukbhir Singh (he/him) is Professor, Chair and Head of the Ottawa Academic Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care affiliated with The Ottawa Hospital and Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa.

He is an internationally recognized leader in the care of those with complex gynecologic conditions including endometriosis, uterine fibroids and chronic pelvic pain. In addition, Dr Singh leads a collaborative research program alongside physiotherapy, psychology, social sciences, basic sciences and engineering.   Through these collaborations, Dr Singh hopes to improve access to care for those with in need with a focus on the most vulnerable individuals and communities.
